TURIJA
It is situated at a distance of 16 km north of Strumica, in the basin of the river Turija. It is a dam of the type stone – earthen dam with a central day core. It was built in the period from 1968 until 1971 and brought into operation in 1973. The dam has the capacity of 50 350 000 m³ and it is designed for water supply of the town of Strumica and the industry, irrigation of the Fields in Strumica and getting hydro energy. HEC “Turija” was built in the period from 1984 until 1985. The height of the dam is 77 metres, the length of accumulation is 5 km and the greatest width is 500 metres. The area of the confluence terrain is 213 km².
VODOCHA
It is situated at a distance of 14 km west of Strumica. It is a stone – earthen dam with decayed shale. It was built in the period from 1962 until 1965 and brought into operation in 1966. It is designed for water supply of fields and serves as a reserve for water supply in Strumica. The dam has a capacity of 26 700 000 m³. The height of the dam is 44 metres, the length of accumulation is 3.25 km and the width is 600 metres. The area of the confluence terrain is 75.9 km².
NOVOSELKA
It is situated at a distance of 21 km east of Strumica and is constructed on the river Novoselka. It is a stone – earthen dam with a central clay core. It is used for irrigation of the field and water supply of the industry. The volume of the accumulation expanse is 402 200 m³. The height of the dam is 24 metres. The area of the confluence terrain is 1126 km².
ILOVCHANKA
It is situated at a distance of 11 km east of Strumica and is constructed on Ilovichka River. It is a stone – earthen dam with a central clay core. It is designed for water supply of the people in the villages of Ilovica, Shtuka, Bosilovo, Turnovo, Sekirnik, Radovo and Borievo and for irrigation of the fields. The volume of the accumulation expance is 417 000 m³. The height of the dam is 27.80 metres and the area of the confluence terrain is 25.69 km².
